About Us

Built on trust, not sales tactics

Merrifield Door & Lock Co. was founded on a simple belief: homeowners and business owners in Fairfax deserve locksmiths who tell the truth — even when it means telling them they don't need to spend more.

We're not a franchise. We're not calling from a call center. When you call us, a real person who knows our trade answers the phone. We show up on time, explain the problem in plain language, and give you options — not pressure.

Transparent Pricing No surprise fees. We quote before we work.

Quality Hardware We install brands you can count on for years.

Local & Accountable We live here too. Our reputation is everything.

Why Choose Us

The Merrifield difference

We've earned the trust of hundreds of Fairfax families and businesses. Here's what sets us apart.

We Answer the Phone

No automated menus. No "your call is important to us." Real humans, real answers, real help — especially when you're locked out at 2 AM.

Fairfax-Native Knowledge

We know the area's older homes, newer developments, and everything in between. We bring the right expertise for your specific property type.

No Upsell, No Rush

If a $40 repair will do, we'll tell you. We've built our business on referrals, not inflated invoices.

Guaranteed Workmanship

Every installation and repair comes with our workmanship guarantee. If something isn't right, we make it right — no questions asked.

Testimonials

Trusted by our neighbors

Hear from Fairfax homeowners and business owners who chose Merrifield Door & Lock Co.

"They showed up within 30 minutes when I locked myself out. Professional, friendly, and they didn't try to sell me a $500 system when a $60 repair did the trick. Rare to find that kind of honesty."
